Foundering

The Community and Health Center was founded by Matlhatso Kesupile-Reed, a nurse and behavioral health psychotherapist residing in Philadelphia, PA (USA). Reed established the non-governmental organization (NGO) to spread her passion, compassion and love for serving humanity.

To support her mission, she has received invaluable resources and support from her husband Samuel A Reed III, a teacher and business consultant, and her brother Mooketsa Busboy Kesupile, former headmaster who resides in Kanye, Botswana.

Our Values

The Need for Supporting CHC

Since its founding, over $200,000.00 has been donated to directly support and grow CHC’s mission, thanks to the generosity and philanthropy of board members and donors.

Despite all the generosity and support, the needs of the community in Kanye, Botswana are growing at a rapid rate, thereby requiring more resources. With the growth of need from CHC in Kanye, Botswana, additional support is needed from the community as well, so that CHC can continue to provide essential resources.
